• To give primacy to the human and spiritual rather than to the material values of life.
• To promote the adoption and the application of higher social, business, and professional standards
• To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship
• To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render    altruistic  service, and to build better communities.
• To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.

Our reaffiliation with Kiwanis changed nothing in the operation of our Club except the logo. Our mission remains the same, as does ‘what we do’ and ‘how we do it’.

Organization

The Club is organized as a Colorado nonprofit corporation and is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of ten officers and seven other directors. The organization and operation of the Club are subject to the Club's Articles of Incorporation, its Charter Agreement with Kiwanis International, and club Bylaws and Policies. These documents are accessible to members.  The Club also controls an independent foundation -- the Monument Hill Foundation -- which seeks funds in various ways to support the Club's mission; and it manages a Foundation-based grants program on behalf of the Club to assist youth and the community as requested by various organizations based on funding availability.
